She saw her eye candy in the line & came skipping to me as i joined the queue, telling me she'll talk to him on the bus. On board, i bid her goodbye as i headed to the upper deck. Leaving her to approach her eye candy at the rear of the bus. She whined & showed me a face expressing disappointment.
It was our shared luck that she had not made a request of her expectations of me. It would have been utmost vulgar. Seating by a "friend" of the opposite gender like an idiot, while she pays homage to her eye candy with heaps of attention.
It would seem insulting when she isn't even a close friend to me. Offensive to have that someone be an accessory while you check out the premium item.
Expectations was what she had.
Expectations is a bane to me. A form of hope born of the concept of having a future. Something not worth having especially when your concept of future is brighter than your actual state.
No, i'm not angry with her. She has yet spoken the offensive.
