Dined at Ding Tai Fung with Rina yesterday. At 6.15pm, no queue. The place was roughly 70% filled. I had vegetable & meat dumpling noodles. It was too bland & soup tasted of flour from the noodles. She went for a vermicelli dish with beancurd-skin-wrapped-meat. It wasn't too bad. Tasted unique. Strangely, they don't accept nets.

Rina got me a CultIndustries wallet from her vacation. It's pretty cool. Lots of compartments, haha. As i was telling her, i like it. But i haven't got the complain part =P Anyway, she knows.

The world for her.
So why not, a workaround for her gift.

Junction 8's changed a little. Shops moved, some closed down. The interchange too, 59's berth is hidden behind a pillar.

Hellgate: London. I was playing it this afternoon till evening. It's rather similar to Diablo 2. Essentially, it's a more 3D version of D2. "WASD" controls instead of mouse click, so you more or less get what i mean.

With around 70% of the eye candy shown, my character was taking 3 steps & shooting forward on the fourth. So i lowered the graphic options to around 60%. Lags only in messy, explosion-filled-demon-surrounded situations.

Surprisingly, a check at SystemRequirementLabs showed that my 1.73GHz was rated at 2.59GHz. It was 2.4GHz when i checked last time.

I'm not sure if it's a bug though, but there're times when my character stops responding to movement inputs & just goes on slashing the air.

I suppose a Bleach 'FPS' game would be immensely popular, now that i think of it.

Watched I Am Legend too. It's quite hmm, soothing. In a way. The crumbling of the rat race, taking your own time to do things, no work-for-cash. The only catch is to be home by sundown, lock up & make sure there're no traces leading to your hideout. Oh yeah, & make sure you don't piss of any slightly sentient or intelligent mutated-s.

Somehow, i yearn for such a change. Massive change in life worldwide, whether the consequences be painful or not.
